Lore

Durandel is considered the gentlest of the Harmonious, offering solace even to foes. In myth, he once crossed a battlefield carrying his lantern, healing the dying of both armies until the fighting ceased. His eternal rival is Vortexus, the Discordant lord of conflict, whose chaos and division seek to shatter the endurance Durandel embodies.

Common Knowledge in Eldoria

“Durandel’s lantern never dims.” Eldorian bards sing of him comforting the wounded, while mothers invoke him when their children fall ill. A common superstition holds that if a lantern does not go out in the wind, Durandel walks nearby.
